For me, design is the expression of life.
Every carpet I create is a bridge between art and function, between cultural roots and contemporary living. My work is deeply inspired by Persian design heritage, yet always translated into a modern, market-aware language that fits today’s homes and lifestyles.
In my approach to design:

Professional Profile
I am Ali Reza Homayounifar, a Düsseldorf-based rug and carpet designer with more than 25 years of experience in developing high-quality, market-oriented carpet collections for international manufacturers.
Over the years, I have collaborated with brands and producers across Iran, Turkey, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, and Mongolia, supporting them in building collections that achieve both strong commercial performance and long-term relevance.
My work combines creative vision with technical precision, ensuring that every design is fully optimized for production realities, cost structure, and the expectations of its target market.
