About Me
Rug & Carpet Designer / Collection Developer / Product Specialist
I’m Ali Reza Homayounifar, a Düsseldorf-based rug and carpet designer with more than 25 years of experience in creating high-quality, market-focused carpet collections for international manufacturers. My work combines deep knowledge of Persian design heritage with modern interior trends, technical production expertise, and a precise understanding of global market needs.
Over the years, I have collaborated with leading brands and manufacturers across Iran, Turkey, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, and Mongolia, helping them build collections that achieve strong commercial performance and long-term customer interest.
My approach to design blends creativity with technical accuracy ensuring that each carpet is not only visually compelling but also fully optimized for production, cost structure, and the expectations of its target audience.
Design Philosophy
For me, designing carpets is not simply about patterns. It is about creating products that fit real homes, real lifestyles, and real markets.
A successful design must:
Reflect cultural taste
Follow material and price constraints
Match weaving capabilities
Deliver clarity on the loom
Be commercially viable
This balance between artistic vision and technical discipline is at the heart of every collection I create.
